Diedrich French Roast, Dark K-Cups for Keurig Brewers (Pack of 50) best price
Diedrich French Roast, Dark K-Cups for Keurig Brewers (Pack of 50)

I’ve been drinking French roast type coffees for about six or seven years now. In the office, Green Mountain is free, so I drink a lot of it. I also buy Starbucks for home brewing, which is not free…My wife recently bought me a Keurig coffee maker that came with a large sample pack.

Among the samples was the Diedrich French roast, which sent me back to school. Absolutely the best of its type I’ve ever tasted. My office coffee, which I once regarded as a gourmet blend, now seems like goat leavings by comparison. If you like the taste of coffee–I mean really like it, bold and beautiful–Diedrich’s French roast is for you.

I love a smooth, dark roast coffee. Smooth, rich, and dark. This is it. I’ve been trying as many varieities of bold and dark as I can. This one and Timothy’s Midnight Magic are my favorites so far. Parisian Nights is OK, but not quite as nice. I have yet to try an Italian roast. Mixing one of these French Roast’s with a Midnight Magic or a Parisian Nights and a shot of REAL Cream is about as good a it gets. An exquisite cup of coffee right here in my own kitchen.

Life is good :-)

I love the Keurig and I tried several coffee k-cups till I found this one. Some of the darker roasted coffees are bitter but this one is just perfect for my taste

I tried Diedrich French Roast after my first choice in subscribe and save became unavailable under that program.
I prefer a dark, very bold coffee (which I then debauch to golden with cream…yes I know, my bad) I’ve tried Parisian Nights and Dark Magic and loved both and was getting the Parisian Nights on S&S as Dark Magic wasn’t available (except at BB&B).
Unfortunately, the ‘manufacturers’ or Amazon did not offer me a way to try another type by taste, just ‘make a new selection’ so I relied on other folk’s reviews and took this.
Overall, it IS a good, dark roast but I find it not quite bold enough for how I take my coffee. (I use the 10oz cup setting on my Kuerig) It’s smooth but does finish a little too lame with cream added.
I wish there was a sampler that contained K cups from multiple manufacturers of the various types (i.e. Bold…that contained all the bolds from Coffee People, Timothy’s, Gloria Jean, Green Mountain, etc) I really hate having to buy a big box of something (like this box of 50) that really doesn’t cut it for me.
I’m going to order ‘Jet Fuel’ and hope that one does it before my next S&S shipment of this variety is due. If that one works I may just give up S&S for ordering it myself every month (the price is the same and they are both ‘Prime’ eligible)
This is a very good French Roast…just not as bold as I desire… I think it is comparabe to Emeril’s Big, Easy Bold.
Re: Packaging–> All my cups were accounted for (got 50 just like promised) and none of my K cups were damaged or empty. So right now the “Frustration Free Packaging” packaging is ok with me (50 cups loose in a single box) I have read many reviews were people were shorted cups or got damaged or empty cups however I think that is always possible even in the manufacturer’s boxes. My opinion would probably be different if the above issues had happened to me.

I absolutely love Diedrich French roast. I prefer stronger blends and this is one of the best. You won’t go wrong if a strong, smooth cup of coffee is what you’re after.

Timothy’s World Coffee, Colombian Decaffeinated Medium K-Cups for Keurig Brewers (Pack of 50) best price

Timothy’s World Coffee, Colombian Decaffeinated Medium K-Cups for Keurig Brewers (Pack of 50)

Because a kind soul brought her Keurig into work, I got to try Timothy’s Columbian decaf. The coffee doesn’t have any of the after taste associated with decaf.

It just tastes like a smooth cup of coffee. After my colleague took her machine home, I craved another cup of that coffee. So, I bought a Keurig and began searching for the best price I could get on Timothy’s Columbian Decaf. Thank you Amazon for making this 50 pack offer. The deal is even better if you “subscribe and save.”

When you have to drink decaf and you live in a small town with limited selection, you learn to not be especially picky. We love our Keurig brewer, but we were paying premium prices for K-cups at our local grocery store. We found better deals at the Keurig website, but as I’m always on the lookout for a bargain, I was thrilled to see a medium-roast decaf K-cup that I’d tried and liked, available on Amazon’s Subscribe and Save. The deal is great: I’m paying less than 40 cents per cup! This decaf is smooth, mellow, not bitter, and not too dark.

I would imagine that if you prefer a dark roast, you’d find this too weak–but it’s perfect for my rather tame taste in coffee. I highly recommend it!

When looking for a dark blend of DeCaf is difficult – Timothy’s Colombian Decaf is a perfect blend of taste and aroma -
I love to start my day with a wonderful full cup.

The Timothy’s is a very mild but good tasting smooth coffee. I wouldn’t say it is my go to coffee (Donut House seems to be that one) but I do enjoy a cup of Timothy’s now and again.

I really like this coffee. It’s got a rich flavor, but is still a medium blend. Although it’s a decaf, it doesn’t have the aftertaste you get w/other decafs. Been buying it for about a year and will continue to purchase.

I have tried several brands of coffee for the Keurig and this has excellent flavor and aroma. Although I would prefer a bolder taste, for decaf this more than passed the test.

We just started ordering your coffee about Chrismas time ,,my husband is very fussy..We have to have decaf because of health reasons ,,I would recommend this kind of coffee to anyone ,it is safe for us and it tastes delicious,we look forward to getting up in the morning to get that first cup

We have used other decaff coffee, but none come close to Thimothy’s colombian
decaffeinated coffee. It has the full flavor of regular coffee but without the
caffeine. It is great for an evening cup of coffee and it will not interfer with
your sleep.

My wife loves coffee but she had to get something decafe as per doc. Well this one is great tasting and pretty strong for a decafe coffee. I tried it and its really great. I strongly recommend this one.

I believe that the Keurig coffee maker enable one to brew the
freshest cup of coffee possible.

Unfortunately, I have to drink “decaf” coffee, and I have had a
difficult finding a brand that was pleasing. Timothy’s
Colombian Decaf fits the bill.

By the way, NOWHERE can you buy “k cups” for the price that
Amazon offers them. I find the automatic ship program perfect
for me — I’m sure that after trying this convenient
program, you’ll agree !!

I just got my Keurig 2 weeks ago and absolutely love it! That being said iv’e been a serious quest to find the coffee(s) that i like. I’ve had kind of a hard time finding the right decaf. most decafs have a weak flavor because of the decaffination process. I started with Green Mountain’s Hazelnut Decaf. I thought that the flavor would equal out the weakness of the coffee. It’s just ok and pretty weak. Once it’s gone I wont buy again. Then I tried Timothy’s and it’s pretty good. It has some body to the flavor and doesn’t just feel like a watered down hot drink. The four stars is because it doesn’t beat Newmans Own Organic Special Decaf which is a little smoother yet with full flavor. I would probably buy Timothy’s again.

I don’t usually drink decaf, but tried a variety of them when I needed to drink decaf for awhile. This one was so good that I’m still drinking it! No burned or bitter aftertaste, just smooth and mellow coffee flavor. It’s my favorite K-cup.

This is best tasting and the best value for your money in decafe K-Cups. The flavor is bold, unlike most other decafe products which taste weak and washy. At about 44 cents per cup I highly recommend Timothy’s Decafe Colombian. I will continue to purchase this product.

The Timothy’s Decaffeinated coffee, has a great taste with out any bitterness. The coffee is full bodied and flavorful regardless of the size brewed.
Purchasing through Amazon.Com was easy and delivery was exceptionally rapid. I will be back for more coffee, and of course other things from Amazon.

Coffee People Kona Blend Island Style, Extra Bold K-Cups for Keurig Brewers (Pack of 50) very cheap price
Coffee People Kona Blend Island Style, Extra Bold K-Cups for Keurig Brewers (Pack of 50)

There are a couple of things that I really enjoy about the Coffee People Kona Blend K-cups, their pricing is and outstanding value when compared to buying the K-cups at a retail location, and secondly the coffee is good.

This is the a rich, smooth, and bold blend of coffee. It almost reminds me of Starbucks as it tastes like it has been roasted to a bold flavor. I like to make this coffee when I want a little extra kick of coffee flavor to start my day. If you are a fan of bold tasting coffee I would definately recommend this coffee for you.

I’ve tried pretty much all of coffee people’s extra bold K-cups. Kona is my personal favorite. It has a faint nutty flavor and is very smooth, not bitter (like black tiger), but still fairly strong. If you’re looking for a coffee that you can drink everyday, I would try this coffee. Jetfuel, Donut shop, Black tiger, etc. are good for a while, but I got tired of them after a few days. I only drink those cups as breaks between my standby’s (Kona and Organic).

As far as “extra bold” goes, the cups definitely have a lot of coffee in them. A little bit of coffee spills out of all of the extra bold coffee people cups.

Before I get to the coffee itself, I just want to reiterate a disclaimer to anyone who’s thinking about buying this:

Yes it’s a great price for 50 K-cups, and that is an unqualified statement – when you consider that the local supermarket has 18 for , it’s an unbelievable value. However, the packaging and shipping method leaves something to be desired. The cardboard box you see in the picture is the shipping box – inside are 50 K-cups that were just thrown in. No peanuts, no molds, nothing at all. Just 50 loose K-cups in a shipping box. As a result, any dents the box might endure in shipping (it happens) could damage the K-cups themselves. I was lucky, as only four K-cups in my shipment had cosmetic dings and scratches and none were broken open. Other buyers have not been so fortunate.

Now, onto the good news – this coffee is brilliant. As soon as I got my shipment I went right to work using my B70′s smallest setting. Naturally this provides the richest brew, and therefore is the most telling test of a coffee’s quality. This Kona blend passes with flying colors – great aroma, a fantastically bold yet sweet taste with none of the bitter aftertaste that other bold roasts leave behind. Goes down wonderfully smooth. Just an all-around great coffee to have everyday. Some purists may question the value of a Kona “blend” (which probably has only 10% Kona coffee) but I think you should just ignore the name and buy it because it’s delicious.

Bottom line – this is excellent coffee, no question. Just know that the fragile packaging is the price you pay for .35 K-cups.

Gloria Jean’s Coffees,Butter Toffee K-Cups for Keurig Brewers (Pack of 50) best price

Gloria Jean’s Coffees,Butter Toffee K-Cups for Keurig Brewers (Pack of 50)

This is a great flavor! First, my husband likes lots of cream & lots of sugar in his coffees. One day I saw this in the store & bought it because the name made it sound promising – my husband LOVED it. He barely puts any cream in his coffee because he says it tastes so smooth.
My neighbor also has a Keurig & we swap flavors to get more of a variety.

I gave her some of this, and she was sold! This is all she drinks now, too!
Because this stuff is so great, we obviously buy in big quantities. This packaging is great! Just one box w/ a bunch of Kcups thrown in. We don’t have to mess w/ the plastic over the two boxes, etc. etc.

I have to say this is a nice, mild to medium coffe with a nice flavor (if you like to sweeten your coffee). I do use sweetener and I know it changes the flavor dramatically. I have offered this item to people who do not sweeten their coffee and they have told me it does not taste the same. Butter Toffee to me should be sweet so I understand what they are saying.

As far as Gloria Jean’s Butter Toffee, it is a good tasting cup of coffee and the flavor is consistent.

The value of this item through the Subscribe and Save program makes it a good value for the dollar as well.

I love this flavor! This is a real perk me up type of coffee–good aroma, good taste. Just what this coffee lover enjoys any time of the day or night.

I love Gloria Jean’s Butter Toffee for Keurig K-cups. It really has the taste of butter toffee and is not bitter. I just wish they made it in decaf. I also like that it is being shipped in one large box instead of two smaller ones–less waste and fewer boxes to recycle.

If you like sweet flavored coffee, this one is great! The smell fills up the house with toffee (which I personally love). Fresh coffee at a graet price.

If you like flavored coffee this is a perfect choice! It is so rich and delicious, and it has a great aftertaste. My favorite cup of coffee by far! I also thought getting a pack of 50 would be too much to ever finish, but I had a cup of it everyday. I looked forward to it every day, and never once got sick of it. Great deal for an amazing product!!

I LUV flavored coffee. I’ve outgrown some flavors and replaced them with others. But, I never grow tired of Gloria Jean’s Butter Toffee. Plus, I subscribe and get 15% off all my coffee orders at Amazon, with quick delivery, to boot. Gotta love this place!!!

I know a lot of people don’t like flavored coffees, but this one is outstanding. It really does have a buttery/creamy type taste that is smooth and not very bold. I’ve given this to a few people to try, and they all have liked so far. The bigger 50 pack makes your cost a little lower. Only if they had it in decaf too

I’ve always liked Gloria Jean coffee, but this butter toffee is exceptionally delicious! If you haven’t had an opportunity to try it you’re really missing out. It was easy breezy way to order it from Amazon and came early. Gotta love that too.

Butter Toffee k=cups are my favorite. Have ordered them on subscription to arrive at the office every 3 months. And they ship fast when ordered.

Coffee People, Donut Shop K-Cups for Keurig Brewers (Pack of 50) best price
Coffee People, Donut Shop K-Cups for Keurig Brewers (Pack of 50)

To cut to the chase, this produces a very good MEDIUM roast style cup of coffee…period. Some folks tend to compare all coffees to one another no matter what the bean is and how it’s roasted. I do roast my own green beans (home roaster) when I brew a pot of coffee every morning and use the K-Cups when only a single cup is needed.

If you don’t like that ‘in your face’ dark roast, dense, heavy style of coffee in the morning (or any time for that matter) this is definitely the coffee for you. It’s not bitter, a bit floral, with a true pure coffee taste. Does it match Dunkin Donuts style coffee in taste? I’d say YES to that when using the middle cup size setting on the Keurig brewer….which I use for folks that take milk in their cup, I use the larger cup setting because I drink my coffee black and like that taste profile. The new packaging is OK (you get 2 extra K-Cups for the $ $ ) as long as you have the room in your kitchen to store the larger single box….as opposed to storing the two 24 cartridge boxes.

NOTE: The description of this coffee uses the words “Medium Extra Bold” in it’s packaging as opposed to the two 24 boxes version which lead me to think there was now two DIFFERENT varieties of this Donut Shop coffee….so I ordered both (wanted 98/100 anyway) but it turns out that both were the same. Amazon should correct that description and take out ‘Extra Bold’ so they match each other.
I’ve had my Keurig brewer for 5 months and have tried a lot of brands and the Coffee People Donut Shop regular is among my favorites. Green Mountain Nantucket Blend and Timothy’s Italian Blend are also favorites.

One reviewer remarked about Subscribe & Save costing less. It’s only a dollar and a few pennies cheaper than this packaging and Subscribe and Save does not offer Donut Shop “regular” but instead has “Extra Bold”. Also, this packaging gives you 50 k-cups as opposed to 48 (2) 24 count packages in Subscribe & Save.

Another reviewer complained about not having the standard boxes to dispense the coffee. I purchased a K-Cup carousel, available on Amazon for .95 that holds 26 k-cups; it looks nicer by my Keurig than cardboard boxes.

I must admit that I have gone a little overboard with my k-cup sampling. So far I must have tried about 50 different blends. OVerall I must say that the vast majority of them have been pleasant, better than what I used to make in my coffee brewer. Then I tried the Donut Shop brand. When I first tried this I was not expecting much, it sounds bland, plain, everyday type of coffee. Don’t get me wrong, I have had some pretty good cups of coffee in donut shops but nothing to write home about. When I took my first sip, I thought wow, this is amazing. Smooth, not much of an acid taste, about as close to perfect as I could describe. My love for this k-cup continued and continues to this day. Many times you find a k-cup which at first is very good, but after a couple of cups you get a little sick of them; not with this one. It has been and continues to be my absolute favorite. I will still search for something better, but I doubt I will find it. I hope you like — no strike that — I hope you love this coffee as much as I do.
