Question by Milliardo: How many cups of coffee do you drink in a day? Then how many hours of sleep do you get in a day?
This is for a project for one of my class’s. I just need 30 to 50 people who drank coffee to answer the question please. I dont now need names just: How many cups do you drink, and how many hours do you sleep?

I drink 3 cups of coffee in the morning, and that is all……….. and I usually get 6 hours of sleep a night……

Question by aml0017: How long does it take for black coffee to go bad?
I have been in the habit of making a big pot of coffee, then just reheating a cup for a couple days after. It’s because I’m lazy. It is just black coffee sitting in a pot, no cream or sugar. I don’t ever go more than 3 days without making a fresh pot. Anyone else do this? I have never gotten sick or anything.

Question by paulaj2006: Why did Pyrex® discontinue making the famous coffee pots?
I inherited a Pyrex coffee pot from my mother, it made a great cup coffee and I used it to boil water for tea and cocoa. Due to age it broke, and I’ve seen a few on ebay, but I would love to buy a new one. But the company apparently doesn’t make them anymore.

Why would a company discontinue making a product that lots of people like using?

Well I don’t know why they discontinued them, we had one back in the 1960′s, on night I heard a crash and scream, ours had exploded and scalded my mothers leg from the hot water, it may have been for that reason, but I would imagine it was because of the drip coffee maker craze that started in the 1970′s with Mr Coffee and Joe DiMaggio.

I would like to find a single serve coffee maker that does not require the use of the pre-packaged packets of ingredients. Something that lets you add normal ingredients of any sort, not the proprietary packets of pricey coffee that must be used.

I hate when the shots are left out too long or when the barista scorches the milk. I used to work at a coffee shop, so I know what to look for and it drives me crazy sometimes.

I was a Barista too, and my biggest annoyance is when they burn the grounds or don’t run the shots properly (ie. too long or not ground properly). That can make your favorite coffee taste like it’s 5 days old. Disgusting!

I heard that stimulation of the nerves help your child learn better in the future. So, since coffee stimulates the nerves, does that mean feeding your child coffee helps with learning when they get older?

I would never give a child coffee,is coffee is a stimulant, yes, but it will not make your child cleverer in the future. What it will do is make the child very hyperactive and probably cloud its inability to concentrate at the present time.
